It was originally adopted in 1905, they changed it slightly in 1910 and standardized on it. There was no change on it in 1930 that I'm aware of, unlike the Mosin-Nagant rifle - In fact, IIRC, there wasn't any change amde to the gun itself from 1910, outside of installing a large water-filler sometime in WWII.
