The last time I was in Malta, I was really disappointed. No one sold a falcon statue ;)  Seriously.  If they want something for the tourists to snatch up, a cheap Falcon statue made in China would be the trick. :)  I tried to explain it to dozens of small shop owners and they didn't know what I was talking about.  It struck me as an obvious "tourist" thing to sell. In one scene, The "lady" told Sam Spade that his previous "protector" uses a Luger as one of his sidearms. I wonder, if the producers of the movie in that time showed that particular Luger, it will be a german model, or it would be an american Luger? Lets remember that in the early 20's (if I'm not wrong) the US army bought Lugers under the license of the german factory. Also lets remember that the movie was set in 1941, one year early of the intervention on US in the World War II. [[User:Rodrigo79]] 08:50, 29 January 2013
