Some IDs

The S&W Model 610 looks a bit large overall, and seems to have a rather large (and short) cylinder. Also a rather uncommon caliber to use, as well. I would suggest this is more likely a .45 ACP Smith & Wesson Model 625, but that being said the 625 only had at most a 5" barrel, and the one on the gun here does look a bit longer than that (tough to tell what with the prop mod though) - Do we have any specific reference or info that indicates it is a S&W Model 610? Also, the S&W Model 27 ID is incorrect - the barrel looks to be too short and the ejector rod shroud is the wrong shape. Also doesn't look to have the trademark firing pin on the hammer. I believe that gun is a Reck Agent or something similar along that vein. Definitely not a S&W Model 27 in any event. StanTheMan (talk) 17:35, 16 April 2016 (EDT)

I'd second the idea that it is a Reck Agent, there are a couple of other features that point to this like the rear sight and shape of the cylinder fluting. As for the laser revolver or whatever it is, my standard guess based on the size would be a 629 Competitor. If you look carefully at the cylinder though it appears to be unfluted, so my guess is that it is this Airsoft replica made by Tanaka. As for the "Old West" revolvers, the 1851 appears to have a brass frame suggesting it is a Pietta replica (contrary to their marketing BS about supposed Confederate manufacture there were no real 1851s with a brass frame), and the shape of the loading lever and presence of a top strap on the 1860 suggest that it is actually a Remington 1858. I'm not convinced about the Python either, it has 3 vents on the rib whereas a real one with that barrel length only has 2, and to me it also looks like it might have the S&W style cylinder release. The Schofileds look like the 5" barrelled "Wells Fargo" model. The Winchester 1894 just looks like another Yellow boy to me (the brass frame is polished which hides the colour somewhat). Lastly, the tranq gun isn't a Crossman, it is a Palmer Cap-Chur. --commando552 (talk) 20:06, 16 April 2016 (EDT)
