Sporterized Milsurplus rifle

I believe the rifle on the left is a Winchester 1917 rifle can anyone verify?--Balin21 (talk) 14:39, 16 December 2014 (EST)

I don't think either of them were military rifles. --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:46, 16 December 2014 (EST)
That one, if anything, might be a sporter 1903, but thats doubtful. The one on the right in that image looks like another Model 70 like those seen in the above caps. StanTheMan (talk) 18:33, 16 December 2014 (EST)

Deputy Gare's Revolver

This revolver seems to have a full underlag so it's hardly a Ruger Security Six. It also seems to lack target sights. Maybe Smith & Wesson Model 581? Greg-Z (talk) 14:45, 16 December 2014 (EST)

I think it does have target sights, you can make them out in the second cap. Why can't it be a GP100 as well? --Funkychinaman (talk) 14:47, 16 December 2014 (EST)
OK, I missed the sights. Speaking of GP100, I think that the screen revolver has less angular shape of ejector rod shroud but it can be only an illusion. On a second guess, I think that GP 100 may be a right guess. Greg-Z (talk) 14:51, 16 December 2014 (EST)
While it has a full underlug with the slant to muzzle the front sight looks a bit off for the Ruger. Can't really tell but I don't think the rear of the revolver's reciever has the rounded bulge like Rugers do either. As such, this might possibly be a Taurus Model 66. I would add that the Sheriff's revolver might be a Taurus Model 66 instead of a GP100 as well. StanTheMan (talk) 18:33, 16 December 2014 (EST)
