In the movie, he comments that its hard to work the safety since it is only on the left side of the gun. He comments that he doesn't like ambidextrous safeties because they are too easy to switch to "fire" on accident. The revolver would negate this.GaBoy45 01:19, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

The pistols under the S&W 1911 heading are not a 5" 1911's. If you look at the bottom of the slide ahead of the dust cover compared the the pic of the 5", it is clearly a Commander length pistol. User:Captain America
Well they are SW1911. So if you have a picture of a SW1911 Commander feel free to post it. All imfdb has right now is pictures of the full length SW1911's. --Jcordell 15:20, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
