I do not think that this is really a Gilboa rifle: It has a A1 upper which as far as I know is not on any of the Gilboas, it even has the old style parallel sided handguard slip ring. The design of this upper long pre-dates when Silver Shadow came into existence (1995), so despite the fact it says Gilboa on the lower, I would guess that the upper is one of those old converted 13" barrel "Menusar" carbines which are made from chopped down 603s. It could also be a 14.5" barrel Model 653 (called the "Katsar" in Israel), but I think they tended to have the tapered handguard ring. Is it ever shown better to see what barrel length it has?  --commando552 (talk) 09:42, 2 September 2014 (EDT)

I do not think that this is really a Gilboa rifle:

Jarhead2 034.jpg

It has a A1 upper which as far as I know is not on any of the Gilboas, it even has the old style parallel sided handguard slip ring.
