Beretta 92FS

One is seen in "Clean Hands" (S2E03), used by Walter Volcek (Peter Outerbridge), the father of a victim of a serial killer to try get revenge. It should be noted that he racks the slide at least three times throughout the episode before he shoots it. and when he does it appears to fire full auto, though it might just have been full auto sound effects.

Ed was returning fire with bursts from his MP5. That's where the automatic sounds came from, if you listen close you can hear Volcek firing semi auto. --Crazycrankle 00:50, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Donald Mitchell (Alan Van Sprang) uses a Smith & Wessson 5906 to take Adam Westfall (Darrin Baker) hostage.

Smith & Wesson 39?

I don't think it's a 39. And I said it's NOT a 59 either. Let me explain... It's not 39 because I think only double-stack models have those "bulges", but correct me if i'm wrong. 59? - No. Look closely at the sights and the grip panels! They look too modern (maybe 3rd generation?). Looks more like this one: http://world.guns.ru/handguns/sw5906.jpg (it's hard to find pics of blued S&Ws) It would also explain the fact that "model 39 isn't issued anymore".

It was probably a mistake to write this in a discussion since nobody actually reads them! The Star 28/30M in the Hard boiled article is still labeled as Walther P88.

I dunno if you recall, but I did reply to your comment (was it yours?) in the Hard Boiled discussion section. I just forgot to change it.
Yes it was mine. I saw your comment... so you just forgot to change it? Then I apologize. What do you think about this S&W?

Remington PSS700

Thanks for posting my Pic of my PSS700 in .300 Win Mag. :) Love that gun. :) That's the gun most likely used by Police SWAT teams (after the .308 version of course). I think the guns in the show have LEUPOLD quick release mounts and I can rephotograph the rifle with those types of scope mounts as well. But I don't think those are 30.06 rounds on the stock. The brass looks too fat. They look just like .300 Winchester Magnum rounds, which would be correct if the PSS700 rifles are .300 Win Mag. Is there any dialogue on the show that indicates that they are .308 guns on the show? If not then they could be .300 win mag rifles.

The actions look too short, like .308 actions. If it was long, it would be harder to identify because it could be a .300 mag or a military .300 action chambered in .308. And it is a very nice gun, btw. Wouldn't mind owning one myself. -GM
I still don't think those are 30.06 rounds on her ammo sleeve. I truly believe those are .300 win mag rounds. You may be right about them being .308 guns, but those spare rounds look like .300 win mag dummy rounds. -MPM2008

Scratched/Old Guns

Kinda annoying they use such worn down guns. Their Mp5's have the old slimline foregrip too.

How is it annoying? I find it unrealistic when there is nothing but shiny new guns, most police departments (Or Services as they all seem to be called up here), don't have budgets big enough to buy new MP5's simply because the finish is worn. Also, how can you tell that they have slim foregrips? All I see is rails on a fat foregrip. --Crazycrankle 07:18, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

I think it is very realistic that the guns look worn. When I see the police in the airport here in Zürich then there submachine gun look worse. And my own SIG 550 wasnt mint any more at the end of my military service.

SRU Member

Why is Spike always referred to as "an SRU Member", specially in the M201-Z and MP5 sections, while the others are referred to with their characters name? Was the name unknown to the creator?

scope on H&K G3

In season 2, episode 4- isn't that actually an M3 Red Dot sight mounted backwards?

Rubber bullet Revolver

In the episode "Day Game" Sam and Raf had revolvers that shot rubber bullets that looked, although I only saw it for a moment, like a taurus judge. Is this probable to be used in real life or only for the show? This is used to non lethally disarm gill.

Desert Eagle

In the Episode "Day Game" when team one found out that gill was an ex police officer, jules said "that explains the piece". How would that explain why he had a desert eagle? I would believe if he had a Glock or a SIG. Was this just TV nonsense?

Suggestion

Probably we should split this since it's 5 seasons in total. Ominae (talk) 19:58, 10 December 2012 (EST)

I've been thinking about doing that myself. There's a bunch of unnecessary comments and the page is poorly done as well. --Mandolin (talk) 11:02, 11 December 2012 (EST)

If someone is going to go through the whole series and do each season properly in turn with new screenshots then it can be split up. With tv series people don't necessarily list repeat occurances of a gun, or later series may not be as thoroughly documented as others meaning that if it is just split based on what is on the page you could end of with a lot of holes. In my opinion, one cluttered page is better than five incomplete pages that lack screencaps. An example of this is when The X Files was split, where now we have a number of pages that are incomplete, or missing altogether. I've never seen this show so don't know how thorough the current listing are, just something to bear in mind if you are going to split it. --commando552 (talk) 11:44, 11 December 2012 (EST)

Four seasons of Flashpoint are available on Netflix instant view if anyone is interested. All nine seasons of X-Files are available as well. --Funkychinaman (talk) 11:55, 11 December 2012 (EST)

Season split

I think the page is getting a bit big and should be split up between seasons. --Maxman (talk) 14:38, 28 May 2016 (EDT)

It could do with being split up, sure - IF someone's willing to put the work in on working the separate pages up, that is. I did a bit of cleanup on here today but I'm in no position right now to undertake a full season split-up on this show. StanTheMan (talk) 16:44, 27 June 2016 (EDT)
I'm seeing the entire series up there in maybe Netflix or in Blu-Ray. Ominae (talk) 22:33, 16 January 2017 (EST)

Possible GP-100

In S2E8, "Last Dance" a revolver that appears to be a GP-100 is used a store clerk & Evan, it is stainless, with a full lug 6 inch (appears to be 6") barrel and the rosewood inlay rubber grips of a Ruger GP-100.
