Is vigilantism against immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexican border something that has ever occurred? I've read articles of ranchers "detaining" immigrants for border patrol, and watched a documentary on the Arizona Border Recon (a militia group that intercepts drug cartel activity and turns over cartel members to law enforcement).
