Carter and Franklin's conversation
So what was the deal with the conversation between Carter and Franklin? I have seen this movie so many times, but I still can't quite figure out what the heck was about. It just seemed like the producers were trying to put in some sketchy character background, but for me, it all just raised suspicions.
