:If you want to get technical I believe it would actually be a variant of the DPMS LR-308, as if you look at the shape of the join between the upper and lower at the rear it looks like this is a DPMS pattern rather than an Armalite. As far as I can tell, none of the major large parts are made by DPMS or are copies though, everything is designed and made by DRD with the exception of the barrel blank which I believe is made by FN. Regardless, I was just using the term "AR-10" to generically refer to the various 7.62x51mm Armalite/DPMS/KAC/RRA/whoever ''type'' rifles that are around and can use common parts (depending on the specific pattarn) to distinguish it from the Paratus which due to the folding stock has a totally different non-AR design (although I imagine that some internal parts might be common).  --[[User:Commando552|commando552]] ([[User talk:Commando552|talk]]) 19:58, 30 October 2014 (EDT)

If you want to get technical I believe it would actually be a variant of the DPMS LR-308, as if you look at the shape of the join between the upper and lower at the rear it looks like this is a DPMS pattern rather than an Armalite. As far as I can tell, none of the major large parts are made by DPMS or are copies though, everything is designed and made by DRD with the exception of the barrel blank which I believe is made by FN. Regardless, I was just using the term "AR-10" to generically refer to the various 7.62x51mm Armalite/DPMS/KAC/RRA/whoever type rifles that are around and can use common parts (depending on the specific pattarn) to distinguish it from the Paratus which due to the folding stock has a totally different non-AR design (although I imagine that some internal parts might be common). --commando552 (talk) 19:58, 30 October 2014 (EDT)
