Title Change

As the French part of the title "Coq Rouge" is ment as a codename, like a name, i propose to change the title to "Codename Coq Rouge" if nobody disagree. --Thejoker (talk) 08:35, 5 February 2013 (EST)

According to IMDb, the unofficial English title is Code Name Coq Rouge with the space. --Funkychinaman (talk) 09:49, 5 February 2013 (EST)
Yeah but its unofficial, look at this page where they've called it Codename Coq Rouge whitout the space;

http://www.impdb.org/index.php?title=T%C3%A4cknamn_Coq_Rouge

It's also called that in wikipedia articles and the movie is called Täcknamn Coq Rouge and not Täck Namn Coq Rouge, but anyway my point was to keep the Coq Rouge part in the English title as it's a codename and shouldn't be translated. --Thejoker (talk) 10:08, 5 February 2013 (EST)

I've changed it to Code Name Coq Rouge with the space, as that's what's in IMDb. --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:30, 5 February 2013 (EST)
Well the importan thing was that the Coq Rouge part stayed as it is, but IMDb isn't a trusty source really and the movie hasn't ever been released with an English title, still it's better than Red Rooster. --Thejoker (talk) 10:39, 5 February 2013 (EST)
Here is the wiki source on the subject Carl Hamilton;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Hamilton_novels

IMDb is the source that we use. We've overruled it in the past, but I don't think we have to here. "Codename" and "Code Name" mean exactly the same thing. --Funkychinaman (talk) 10:48, 5 February 2013 (EST)
I know it's the same ting it's just that as Täcknamn is one word, meaning literally Covername, then Codename would be more accurate to the Swedish title that never has had it's title officcially translated to English. --Thejoker (talk) 10:56, 5 February 2013 (EST)
"Covername" is not a real word though. Foreign words do not necessarily have to translate to a single English word. As for the 2codename" thing, As far as I am aware, the correct term is "code name" with "codename" simply being a colloquial term ("codename" is not in the Oxford English Dictionary, so is not a real word as far as I see it). --commando552 (talk) 13:17, 5 February 2013 (EST)
