I believe the bolt-action rifle Castro uses is not a Model 70, but a sporterized [[M1917 Enfield]] rifle, or the Remington Model 30, an inter-war commercial variant. : I concur about it being a so modified M1917 Rifle - the bolt style indeed is a good indicator. Would also make sense they'd use a sporterized former battle rifle given they seem to be holding quite strongly to use of former war/battle weapons otherwise for the most part.
