My brief comment about the Katyn Forest: everyone knows about the crime in 1940 in which were killed 10 or 15 thousand Poles. But no one ever (I mean Poland and the entire West) do not remember about how the Poles killed in 1922, 20,000 Russian prisoners of war. Stalin simply had a good memory. Just as George W. Bush ... :I'm sorry but are you actually saying that the Poles, a good number of whom were not even military, that were butchered at Katyn deserved it as payback because Stalin (yeah there's a role model for the ages)remembered that the Poles did the same thing to the Russians as the Russians did to them in the conflict of 1919-1920?  Seriously?  --[[User:Charon68|Charon68]] 02:00, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

PPSh

The last person put a comment about the PPSh being fake. I assume his statement is because it has a Soumi stick mag in it. When placing revisions members need to back up their claims in the discussion page for the film. -Phoenixent 16:06, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

That's not a Suomi mag, that's an MP-40 mag. It must be one of the ones the Germans converted to 9mm and reissued. - Nyles

Excellent! As I understand, have already begun to make a film about how kind and good Germans with the British Army officers are fighting together against the evil Russian during the World War II? What's next? A movie about how damned russians choked gas Jews at Auschwitz and got rid the atomic bomb on Hiroshima? Slow Rider 10:37, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Although I do not think of the Germans in purely warm and fuzzy terms during WWII let's not kid ourselves about how the Russians behaved either. While the massacre in this movie, as far as I know, is fictional the massacre of Polish military officers and members of the Polish intelligentsia at the Katyn Forest and its' subsequent cover up by the Russians for almost half a century shows they were just as bad. In addition this movie is a work of fiction and given the less than stellar cast I would not take the message it conveys, if there even is one, remotely seriously.--Charon68 22:15, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

In my humble opinion such films provide young people a distorted view of history. You there, few people know that the Russian had lost 27 million people during the war. And even fewer know that Germany had 85% of their losses was on the Russian front. But most know about the only episode in the Katyn forest. All the best traditions of the Cold War ...
