I don't believe the 1911 the US Marshall used was a Springfield. I recall seeing vertical slide serrations, not slanted. | + | I downloaded the movie and I'm finding there is no real good shot of that 1911. My original guess is wrong though, there are slanted serrations, no front serrations,and a beaver tail grip safety so it's not an old school Colt like I originally thought. The sights aren't the Novak style that come on Springfields. However in one angled shot it does look like the Springfield logo behind the ejection port. US Marshall's 1911
I don't believe the 1911 the US Marshall used was a Springfield. I recall seeing vertical slide serrations, not slanted.
