- I think it falls primarily into a question of if this is professionally produced/distributed or not - If it meets distribution requirements, technically I believe it would be eligible. StanTheMan (talk) 16:27, 25 July 2016 (EDT)

- Actually it says "The rule applies to user-made flash games, mobile apps, YouTube home movies/shorts done with airsoft guns, faux commercials, skits or anything else of the sort." 'The rule' being that described in that section which is it must be a professionally-made and/or authority-documented piece of media that is professionally/commercially distributed. Again, if it meets these criteria, again, technically I believe it would (or at least, could) be eligible. - Well here it is on Capcom's official site and googling shows proper press releases and countless news articles.

The spirit of the rule is to stop amateur youtube vids and one-man flash games whipped up in a few days from flooding the site. It even specifies the exception to the rule is when an amateur mod is seen as good enough to be on a par with a professionally made game.Temp89 (talk)
- Well this isn't a game mod, so that exception doesn't really apply, and even then we're not to ones to decide if said mod is 'on par' and worthy of inclusion. While I do agree with you about the 'spirit', I prefer sticking with what is stated in the plain text. - Manga is ineligible as it is not moving visual media. Documentaries have an explicit named ban. I recall it being stated pornos would also technically be eligible if they fit the other outlined requirements, particularly being distribution (which they typically don't, or at least is questionable) and caps can be got that follow the SFW restrictions (same). Not that I'm looking for pornos to be listed on here, just saying it could be possible. It's more they just don't come up, same thing here. That said, this page has clear caps of real weapons - or weapons that are real looking enough and clearly visible long enough for someone to possibly question what they are and thus merit IDing. I also believe this is long enough to avoid being classified as a short. However, I'm not sure I'd exactly call it professionally-made but it definitely is not home-made, either. The distribution part still seems iffy - The site linked is in Japanese, but best I can tell the DVD can only be bought from a particular site, which leans more toward self-distribution to me. News articles I wouldn't count as documentation; I don't consider them the same as IMDB or the like. I don't really have a dog in this fight honestly - Whether is stays here, is moved to the RE6 page as suggested (not a bad suggestion, BTW), or done away with completely, really not that big a deal to me, I'm just making some points here. - My first suggestion was to put it on the RE6 page. Since it's neither fish nor fowl, I was going to treat it like an unsold pilot, like the Zombieland series or the LA Confidential series, none of which would otherwise qualify for their own pages.
