The long barreled Colt in Marlowe's car is not an Official Police, but a Police Positive Special with a 6 inch barrel. Compare the smooth curve of the frame above the trigger with the sort of double curve of the Official Police. I think Eddie Mar's thug is holding a PPS also. As to the other photos, I'm not sure. It wasn't until I saw the two screencaps after watching this movie so many times, I realized that wasn't an Official Police.
