:I think the RCMP might have used them alongside the New Service, though probably for a short time as they were more a military sidearm than police. It should be noted. The artists might have just used the Webley as it's a more well known British sidearm and some might find it weird why the RCMP would have US made revolvers, if they didn't know beforehand. --[[User:PaperCake|PaperCake]] 16:22, 25 May 2016 (EST)

I can't find any evidence the RCMP ever used Webleys. After withdrawing the Colt New Service, they used Smith & Wesson Model 10s with a five inch barrel until switching to 9mm automatics in the '80s and '90s. Should we note the (real) officers should be using Model 10s? --Maxman (talk) 16:11, 25 May 2016 (EDT)

I think the RCMP might have used them alongside the New Service, though probably for a short time as they were more a military sidearm than police. It should be noted. The artists might have just used the Webley as it's a more well known British sidearm and some might find it weird why the RCMP would have US made revolvers, if they didn't know beforehand. --PaperCake 16:22, 25 May 2016 (EST)
