Taken 2 is a 2012 sequel to 2008's Taken. Liam Neeson returns as former CIA operative Bryan Mills, who is captured along with his ex-wife by the father of one of the kidnappers killed by Bryan in the first film. The film was directed by Olivier Megaton (Colombiana) from a screenplay by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. The film would be followed by 2015's Taken 3.
The following weapons were used in the film Taken 2:
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) and some bad guys are seen with Beretta 92FS pistols. Bryan is also seen using a Beretta in a quick flashback to the first film.
Glock 17
Bryan Mills is seen with a Glock 17, one of the guns from his suitcase, when he goes to rescue his ex-wife Lenore. Note that this is a real firing gun, albeit adapted to fire blanks. The Glock 17 was also seen in the first film, but was never fired and was likely just a rubber prop.
Steyr M9A1
Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) uses a Steyr M9A1 pistol near the end of the film. Murad Hoxha (Rade Serbedzija) is also seen holding Bryan's M9A1 for a brief time.
Beretta 92FS Inox
One of the thugs is seen with a Beretta 92FS Inox in the intro scene. This Beretta is likely American-made, because it has blued controls.
Beretta 90Two
Kim Mills (Maggie Grace) picks up a Beretta 90Two pistol from Bryan's suitcase. Later Bryan (Liam Neeson) is seen using it during his escape.
Beretta Px4 Storm
Suko (Alain Figlarz) has a Beretta Px4 Storm pistol.
CZ 85B
A bad guy tries to pick up a stainless CZ 85B when Bryan (Liam Neeson) enters the room. Note the safety on the right side.
Heckler & Koch USP
One of the bad guys holds a Heckler & Koch USP when they kidnap Bryan and his ex-wife.
Heckler & Koch USP Compact
A bad guy is seen with a Heckler & Koch USP Compact near the end of the film.
Para-Ordnance LDA
The bad guy guarding Bryan and Lenore is seen with a Para-Ordnance LDA pistol. A similar LDA was used in Transporter 3 (another Luc Besson film).
SIG-Sauer P226
A policeman working for Murad Hoxha (Rade Serbedzija) tries to shoot Bryan with what looks like a SIG-Sauer P226.
SIG-Sauer SP 2022
Jean-Claude Pitrel (Olivier Rabourdin) is seen with a SIG-Sauer SP 2022 pistol.
Taurus PT92AF
A bad guy sent to capture Kim is seen with a Taurus PT92AF pistol. Bryan's (Liam Neeson) Beretta 92FS also changes into a PT92AF in one scene.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A5
A bad guy guarding the main gate holds a Heckler & Koch MP5A5 when Bryan enters to rescue his ex-wife.
Heckler & Koch MP5K
Two of Murad's henchmen carry Heckler & Koch MP5K submachine guns near the end of the film.
In the trailer, a Heckler & Koch MP5K with the handguard removed was seen as part of a flashback to the first film. This scene cannot be seen in the film, however.
Mini Uzi
A bad guy takes a Mini Uzi when he sees Bryan enters to rescue his ex-wife.
Skorpion vz. 61
A bad guy tries to kill Bryan with a Skorpion vz. 61 submachine gun.
Rifles/Carbines
AIMR Carbine
Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) uses a 5.56mm AIMR (PA Md. 97) carbine near the end of the film.
Arsenal AR-SF
One of the bad guys uses an Arsenal AR-SF rifle.
Micro Galil
One of the bad guys uses a Micro Galil during the final shootout.
Colt M4A1 Carbine
US Marines guarding the American Embassy hold M4A1 Carbines with Aimpoint and/or ACOG sights.
Colt Model 727
At least one Marine is seen holding a Colt Model 727 at the American Embassy.
Machine Guns
Browning M2HB
The Browning M2HB machine gun is seen at the American Embassy.
Others
Frag Grenade
Kim Mills (Maggie Grace) uses a couple of frag grenades of unknown make. The grenades appear to be film props.
