Revolvers

Colt Trooper MK III

In Season 1 and 2, LCPD Sgt. Thomas Jefferson "T. J." Hooker (William Shatner) carries what appears to be a Colt Trooper MK III with a 4” barrel revolver with adjustable sights.

In "Terror at the Academy" (S2E11), Hooker draws his revolver while under fire.

Colt Detective Special

The Colt Detective Special is seen being used by detectives and occasionally criminals.

Colt Detective Special 1st Gen - .38 Special

Lt. Paul McGuire (Leonard Nimoy) armed with the Colt DS at the beginning of "Vengeance is Mine" (S2E16).

Colt Detective Special (Nickel)

The nickel Colt Detective Special also is used by several characters in the series.

Colt Official Police

The Colt Official Police is carried by Romano in Season 1.

Romano draws his revolver in "Hooker's War" (S1E04).

Officer Vince Romano (Adrian Zmed) draws his revolver in "King of the Hill" (S2E02).

In "Terror at the Academy" (S2E11), Kevin Wymans (Kristoffer Tabori), infiltrating the police academy under the name Jeff Turner, fires his revolver during a training exercise.

Smith & Wesson Model 10

The Smith & Wesson Model 10 is the revolver carried by officers of the "LCPD" for the majority of the series including Officer Vince Romano (Adrian Zmed), Officer Stacy Sheridan (Heather Locklear), and Officer Jim Corrigan (James Darren).

Officer Stacy Sheridan (Heather Locklear) holds a Smith & Wesson Model 10] in the opening credits of T.J. Hooker.

The revolver is drawn by Officer Jim Corrigan (James Darren) in "Payday Pirates" (S2E26).

Smith & Wesson Model 15

In the series premiere "The Protectors" (S1E01), the Smith & Wesson Model 15 appears to be revolver carried by the majority of the LCPD officers including Sgt. Hooker (William Shatner) and Officer Vince Romano (Adrian Zmed).

A Smith & Wesson Model 36 is used by several characters in the series.

Dan Wesson Model 15-VH

In the series premiere "The Protectors" (S1E01), Hooker is seen taking out a Dan Wesson Model 15-VH from a case in his trunk. He then is seen using it to take out a fleeing robbery suspect.

Dan Wesson Model 15-VH - .357 Magnum

In the series premiere "The Protectors" (S1E01), Hooker grabs his case that contains his Dan Wesson revolver. Note the extra grip and the multiple barrels.

Pistols

M1911A1

The M1911A1 is a pistol frequently wielded by suspects in the series. In "Terror at the Academy" (S2E11), Hooker is armed with an M1911A1 while searching for the sniper.

Colt Government - .45 ACP

In the series premiere "The Protectors" (S1E01), the criminal Whit (Timothy Scott) holds the M1911A1 during the restaurant holdup.

In "Terror at the Academy" (S2E11), Hooker is armed with an M1911A1 during a confrontation.

Shotguns

Ithaca Model 37

The Ithaca 37 is frequently used by officers throughout the run of the show.

Ithaca Model 37 riot version - 12 Gauge

A robber fires the Ithaca in "Vengeance is Mine" (S2E16).

High Standard FLITE KING K-1200 Riot Shotgun

The High Standard FLITE KING K-1200 Riot '''Standard''' Model shotgun is another weapon seen in the hands of officers and criminals.

High Standard FLITE KING K-1200 Riot Standard Model (Catalog #8111) - 12 gauge. This is the screen used shotgun, held by Steve McQueen in the film The Getaway (1972).

The shotgun is carried by Officer Jim Corrigan (James Darren) in "Payday Pirates" (S2E26).

The [[High Standard FLITE KING K-1200 Riot Standard Model]] shotgun is held by Officer Stacy Sheridan (Heather Locklear) in "Payday Pirates" (S2E26).

Rifles

M14

In "Terror at the Academy" (S2E11), an M14 rifle fitted with a scope and flash hider is seen used by Kevin Wyman (Kristoffer Tabori) to shoot at LCPD offcers.

In "Terror at the Academy" (S2E11), an M14 rifle fitted with a scope and flash hider is seen used by Kevin Wyman (Kristoffer Tabori) to shoot at LCPD offcers.

In "Terror at the Academy" (S2E11), Wyman ejects the empty mag of the M14 rifle.

M16

The M16 is the primary weapon of SWAT in the series.

The original M16, the first version, firing in a 20-round magazine, adopted in large numbers by the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. This has the original 3-prong flash hider. It would later be replaced by the upgraded M16A1 - 5.56x45mm
