Super Fly (1972)

Super Fly is a 1972 Blaxploitation film directed by Gordon Parks Jr. (son of Shaft director Gordon Parks) starring Ron O'Neal, Carl Lee and Julius Harris. The famous soundtrack by R&B and soul legend Curtis Mayfield, who had a cameo in the film with his band, actually outgrossed the film. The film is also notable for introducing the concept for the pimpmobile to the American public. The pimpmobile in the film, a customized Cadillac Eldorado, was a genuine pimpmobile, borrowed from a real pimp who asked for and received a small role in the film. A sequel written and directed by Ron O'Neal was released a year later, and a third film, made without O'Neal, was released in 1990.

The following weapons were used in the film Super Fly:

Colt Model 1903/1908

Youngblood Priest (Ron O'Neal) owns a Colt Model 1903/1908 for personal protection. He lends it out to one of his dealers (Nate Adams) and Fat Freddie (Charles McGregor) for a job.
