Strike Back - Season 6 (also known as Strike Back: Retribution or Strike Back: Cinemax Season 5) is the "revamp" of the Strike Back series, and sports an entirely new cast, although Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton do reprise their roles as Michael Stonebridge and Damien Scott in cameos.

Section 20 is reactivated under the command of Colonel Adeena Donovan (Nina Sosanya) when renowned terrorist Omair Idrisi (Don Hany) and his radicalised wife Jane Lowry (Katherine Kelly) escape from custody. It is comprised of former United Kingdom Special Forces Sergeant Thomas "Mac" McAllister (Warren Brown), United States JSOC operator Sergeant Samuel Wyatt (Daniel MacPherson), British Army Special Recognisance Regiment Captain Natalie Reynolds (Roxanne McKee), Australian Army Special Operations Command Lance Corporal Gracie Novin (Alin Sumarwata) and British Army Intelligence Corps Lance Corporal Will Jensen (Phil Dunster).

The Arex REX Zero 1 is used by members of Section 20 during their operations in the Middle East and Europe. This includes Sergeant Thomas "Mac" McAllister (Warren Brown), Sergeant Samuel Wyatt (Daniel MacPherson), Lance Corporal Gracie Novin (Alin Sumarwata) and Captain Natalie Reynolds (Roxanne McKee). Certain Octagon mercenaries at a black site in Poland in S06E08 also appear to carry REX Zero 1's.

The Arex REX Zero 1 Tactical with underbarrel flashlight and Osprey silencer is used by Sergeant Thomas "Mac" McAllister (Warren Brown), Sergeant Samuel Wyatt (Daniel MacPherson) and Lance Corporal Gracie Novin (Alin Sumarwata) in S06E07 on a mission in Germany.

Grand Power P1

A Grand Power P1 is taken and used by Sergeant Samuel Wyatt (Daniel MacPherson) from an Octagon mercenary in the Poland black site in S06E08. Another is taken from a guard and used by Omair Idrisi (Don Hany) and Sergeant Thomas "Mac" McAllister (Warren Brown) in the same episode. Various Octagon mercenaries pursuing Section 20 in S06E09 also carry them as sidearms.

In a continuity error, Lance Corporal Gracie Novin (Alin Sumarwata)'s Arex REX Zero 1 briefly changes to a Beretta M9A3 when she draws it during a fight in S06E02.

A Beretta 92FS is used by a rogue Syrian Army soldier in S06E01 to execute his colleague. In S06E03, various men working for Tobar (Balázs Czukor) also carry them as their sidearms, with one being disarmed by Josef Varga (Mark Strepan). Various henchmen working for drug lord Milos Borisovich (Petr Firth) also carry them in S06E05.

Glock 17

The Glock 17 is used in lieu of the Arex REX Zero 1 by Section 20 on certain missions. In S06E01, nightclub bouncers in Tripoli are seen carrying the weapons before they are disarmed by Captain Natalie Reyolds (Roxanne McKee) and Lance Corporal Gracie Novin (Alin Sumarwata). In S06E03 both Sergeant Daniel "Mac" McAllister and Josef Varga (Mark Strepan) acquire Glock's from a henchman working for Christian Tobar (Balázs Czukor). Rosa Varga (Kelly Gough) is also seen armed with one in the same episode. In S06E08, Jack Neary (Phil McKee), the Octagon black site manager, is also briefly seen armed with a Glock.

Walther P99

The Walther P99 is carried by most members of Section 20, including Colonel Adeena Donovan Nina Sosanya as their sidearm in Hungary. In S06E01, a nightclub bouncer in Tripoli is disarmed of his P99 by Sergeant Samuel Wyatt (Daniel MacPherson).

Christian Tobar (Balázs Czukor) is briefly seen carrying a Heckler & Koch USP Compact as his sidearm in S06E03, however it jams before he can use it. Milos Borisovich (Peter Firth) is also seen using one in S06E05, giving it to his son Alexsander Borisovich (Gerran Howell). It is later used by Jane Lowry (Katherine Kelly) in S06E07.

A rogue Syrian Army soldier uses a CZ-75 in S06E01 to shoot and kill two helicopter pilots during Sergeant Daniel "Mac" McAllister (Warren Brown)'s mission in Syria.

A Makarov PM is used by Omair Idrisi (Don Hany) in S06E01 to gun down and execute multiple members of Sergeant Daniel "Mac" McAllister (Warren Brown)'s team in Syria. Jane Lowry (Katherine Kelly) is also seen using one in S06E02. In S02E03, Florian (Josh Herdman) and other members of Magyar Ultra are seen carrying a PM as his sidearm. Rocko (Nick Wittman is seen carrying one as his regular sidearm in S06E05. Various Octagon security guards, as well as Dr. Pryce (Tristan Sturrock) are seen carrying Makarovs in the black site in Poland in S06E08.
