Stellan Skarsgård
Stellan Skarsgård is a famous Swedish actor who has gained fame worldwide in his many outings in popular movies, despite already being a star in his native Sweden. He became well known to American moviegoers as the nemesis Captain Tupolev in The Hunt for Red October. He later starred in films like Insomnia, Good Will Hunting, Ronin, Deep Blue Sea, and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. He is probably best known to most as Boot Strap Bill in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, as well as the historical films King Arthur, Helen of Troy, the supernatural thriller "Exorcist: The Beginning" (2004) and the popular film from the musical "Mama Mia". He is the father of actor Alexander Skarsgård .
