M1928 Thompson
In the episode "A Piece of the Action", the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise arrive at the planet Sigma Iota II and find that the inhabitants have styled their entire culture based on a book describing 1920's-era Chicago gangs, and have even armed themselves with copies of M1928 Thompson submachine guns. When Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and Lt. Commander Spock (Leonard Nemoy) go down to the surface, they don disguises to blend in with the inhabitants, arming themselves with "Tommyguns" as well.
