Stan Laurel (1890-1965) had over 180 credits in short and feature-length films in a career spanning 1917-1951. He also had credits as a writer, producer, director and soundtrack credits as a singer. He received a Star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood in 1960, an Honorary Academy Award in 1961, and a SAG Life Achievement Award in 1964.
