Walther PPK

CIA operative Tom Bishop (Brad Pitt) carries a Walther PPK during his rescue mission inside the Su Chou prison.

AK variant

After his first assassination mission for Muir in Vietnam, Bishop fires at the NVA helicopter with an AK-47 variant or Norinco copy. Many of the Lebanese terrorists, North Vietnamese soldiers, Viet Cong guerrillas, East German border guards, and Chinese prison guards carry these as well.

Type III AK-47 7.62x39mm
AKM, Stamped Steel Receiver w/ slant muzzle brake 7.62x39mm
Norinco Type 56 (fixed stock variant) with under-folding bayonet ("pig sticker") - 7.62x39mm
Norinco Type 56 (Imported into the U.S. as the Norinco AKS-47 or AKS-47 Sporter) - 7.62x39mm. This particular gun lacks the "pig sticker" bayonet seen on the model above, which was standard on PLA-issue Type 56s, but much rarer on the export versions.
Norinco Type 56-1 (under-folding stock variant) - 7.62x39mm

M16

U.S. and South Vietnamese soldiers in Vietnam carry variants of the M16 rifle series, namely the M16A1 rifle with 30-round magazines. US Embassy Marines in Beriut can also be seen armed with M16A1 rifles.

M16A1 with 30 Round magazine - 5.56x45mm

Enfield Enforcer sniper rifle

Used by Tom Bishop (Brad Pitt) when he was a US Marine sniper during the closing days of the Vietnam War. The kind of Lee-Enfield rifle Bishop uses appears to be either a modified L42A1 sniper rifle or a modified Enfield Enforcer sniper rifle.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 can be seen being used by the US Navy SEALs that rescue Tom Bishop and Elizabeth Hadley from Su Chou Prison in "Operation Dinner Out".

L1A1 SLR

Seen in the hands of Lebanese terrorists.

British Inch Pattern L1A1 SLR (Self Loading Rifle) chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO - Variation of the FN FAL rifle. British & New Zealand SLR's were later fitted with black fibreglass furniture as seen here.
