Split Second is a 1992 British science fiction film directed by Tony Maylam and Ian Sharp that is set in the future year of 2008, where much of London is underwater due to the effects of global warming and where a veteran British cop and a rookie attempt to track down a serial killer. The film's cast includes Rutger Hauer, Kim Cattrall, and Alastair Duncan.
