Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix (2002)

The following weapons are used in the video game Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix:

Handguns

Colt M1911A1

The first handgun you are given in the game. It can also be dual-wielded. It appears to have some custom features, such as a round ribbed hammer and dot sights. Has a 7-shot magazine.

M1911A1 WWII-era .45 ACP
M1911A1 .45

Heckler & Koch Mark 23 Mod 0

A weapon available fairly early into the game - available when you can equip yourself on the 'loadout' screen before missions. It has a 12-shot magazine, and is available with either a rail-mounted flashlight, the Laser-Aiming Module (LAM), or with the suppressor mounted. Can also be dual-wielded.

Mark 23 .45 ACP Shown W/ Mounted Suppressor
Mark 23 .45 ACP

IMI Desert Eagle Mark XIX

In stainless, with 7 round magazine. Renamed "Silver Talon", like Soldier of Fortune. Despite the different calibers, this weapon uses the same .45 ACP ammo stock as the 1911A1 and Mk23 pistols. Available as a sidearm in multiplayer or with 'Give All' cheat. As with the other handguns, can also be dual-wielded.

Desert Eagle Mark XIX - .50 AE Chrome Silver

Shotguns

Mossberg 590 Cruiser

With extended magazine tube. First found in one of the Prague levels. Available afterward for equipment loadouts before starting missions. Wielded by enemies throughout the game, most notably in the Columbia mission levels. Carries 9 shells in the magazine tube.

Mossberg 590 Cruiser - 12 Gauge with extended magazine tube.
Mossberg 590 Cruiser 12 Gauge (2 3/4" - 70 mm chamber)

Daewoo USAS-12

Available much later in game for loadouts, and used by some enemies, mainly in the Hong Kong levels. Can be fired semi-automatic or fully-automatic, and uses 10-round box magazines. Quite difficult to control when fired on full-auto.

USAS-12 12 Gauge with 10-Round Magazine
USAS-12 12 Gauge ( 2 3/4" - 70 mm chamber)

Submachine Guns

IMI Micro-Uzi

Available later in the game for mission loadouts, used a lot by enemies in the Hong Kong and Seaward Star mission levels. Uses 30-round magazines and can be dual-wielded. Very inaccurate when fired in long full-auto bursts.

Micro-Uzi with folding stock and bent trigger-guard (Shown with 15-Round magazine) - 9x19mm
MICRO-UZI 9x19mm

M3A1 "Grease Gun"

The first automatic weapon you will receive, used by enemies in the Prague mission levels. Uses the .45 ACP pistol ammo stock, giving it a lower max ammo than other automatic weapons. It is fairly accurate and controllable, but slow-firing.

M3A1 .45 ACP

Heckler & Koch MP5A5

Fitted with sound suppressor (The weapon's animation always shows fitting the suppressor on when you ready the weapon, however it can not be attached/removed manually). Can fire in semi-automatic, three-round burst, and fully-automatic. Available as a primary weapon in multiplayer or with 'Give All' cheat. Uses 30-round magazines. Despite it being a 'suppressed' weapon, the in-game P.A.D.D. (Personal Audio Detection Device) shows that it is as noisy as other non-silenced weapons.

Assault Rifles

Colt M4A1 with M203 Grenade Launcher

The primary recommended weapon in pre-mission loadouts until the introduction of the OICW, it can fire in semi-auto, 3-round burst, or full-auto. Alternate fire fires the M203 Grenade Launcher. Uses 30-round magazines. Used by many enemies much later in the game.

M4A1 5.56x45mm NATO and M203 40mm Grenade Launcher. Note how the weapon is missing the forward flip-up sight for the M203 launcher in this screenshot.

AK-74

A weapon heavily used by enemies throughout the game. The AK-74s in this game are stated to have been converted from the standard 5.45x39mm to 5.56x45mm NATO. As such, they use the same 5.56 ammo stock as the 5.56mm rifles in the game. Like the M4, this weapon fires in semi-auto, three round burst, or full-auto. A version of the rifle (different from the standard weapon) is available with a non-detachable bayonet.

AK-74 (Bayonet-mounted version shown)

SIG SG 551

Fitted with an unknown 3x scope. Uses 30-round magazines. Can be fired in semi-auto, 3-round burst, or full-auto. Available as a primary weapon in multiplayer or with 'Give All' cheat.

Heckler & Koch XM29 OICW

The OICW is used in the single-player game, becoming available after you test it out at 'The Shop', some ways into the game. It uses 30 round magazines for the 5.56 rifle part of the weapon, fired either semi-auto, 3-round burst, or full-auto. After it is available, it surpasses the M4 W/M203 as the recommended main weapon.

The weapon in the game has a multi-purpose sight, that can be used as a sniper scope (with night-vision and up to 20x magnification), can identify targets with friend-foe type recognition, and acts as the range calculator for it's grenade launcher.

In the game, the grenades fired must be lazed at a point downrange, but once lazed, are shot normally like regular grenades. The grenades however can also be lazed on target, and then calculated to be launched past the lazed point (for instance, to launch over walls past line-of-sight). The sight must be used with the 'laze' to fire the launcher, making it rather awkward to actually use in the game. The grenades are fired from 6 round magazines and they are different from the 40mm grenades used in the M203 launcher on the M4.
