South Korean agents Yu Jong-won (Suk-kyu Han) and Lee Jang-gil (Kang-ho Song) both carry Beretta 92FS pistols as their main sidearms throughout the film, as well as some South Korean police officers during the gunfight with North Korean commandos.

A Desert Eagle pistol is used by the leader of the rogue North Korean commandos, Park Mu-young (Choi Min-sik).

Heckler & Koch MP5

Heckler & Koch MP5A2 & MP5A3 submachine guns are frequently seen throughout the film in the hands of South Korean SWAT tactical teams and disguised North Korean commandos. They are equipped with a variety of attachments including scopes, laser illumination devices and tactical lights. They were also used by OP tactical teams in the beginning of the movie.

Assault Rifles

M16A1 (With M16A2 handguards)

M16A1 rifles with M16A2 handguards, distinguished by their windage only rear sights and lack of brass deflectors, are used by South Korean soldiers when their convoy is ambushed by rogue North Korean commandos. Agents Yu and Lee also use M16A1s when they arrive at the scene of the ambush.

M16A1 with A2 style handguards - 5.56x45mm. Putting the distinctive A2 handguards on the older rifle was a method used by Movie/TV armorers to simulate A2 rifles when M16A1s were the only ones available. The same thing has been done vice-versa, Using M16A2's with A1 handguards for Vietnam War B Movies.

A Heckler & Koch G3SG/1 rifle is used by the North Korean assassin Bang-hee Lee (Yunjin Kim) during an OP mission to secure an arms dealer before she assassinated him.
