Sherlock Holmes is the famous literary character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that is considered one of the most important staples of the mystery genre. The character has been featured for over a century in various forms of media including feature films and television series.

- The Sign of Four: Sherlock Holmes' Greatest Case - A 1932 British movie, losely adapted from "The Sign of Four" novel, starring Arthur Wontner as Sherlock Holmes and Ian Hunter as Dr. Watson. This is the third screen appearance of Wontner as Sherlock Holmes.
- Silver Blaze (also released as Murder at the Baskervilles) - A 1937 British movie, very losely adapted from "The Adventure of Silver Blaze" short story, starring Arthur Wontner as Sherlock Holmes and Ian Fleming as Dr. Watson. This is the fifth and the last screen appearance of Wontner as Sherlock Holmes.
