Heckler & Koch MP5A3

Prince Otwani and several soldiers are armed with early-model Heckler & Koch MP5A3 submachine guns, also with slimline forearms and straight magazines. Vic Casey (Ted Wass) obtains one from the soldiers holding him prisoner.

Armalite AR-10

Some soldiers are armed with Armalite AR-10 rifles, as noted by their larger 7.62x51mm magazines, front sights and the presence of the charging handle within the carry handle.

The soldiers' Bell JetRanger III helicopter (imaginatively called "Hawk One") features a pair of narrow guns mounted on the sides, just above the gunners.
