Roy Marsden (born Roy Anthony Mould; June 25, 1941) is an British screen and stage actor best known for the role of detective Adam Dalgliesh in the long running TV series based on P. D. James's detective novels, and of Neil Burnside in the spy drama The Sandbaggers.
