Rollerball is a 1975 dystopian science fiction film starring James Caan, set in the future year of 2018. In the film, rollerball is a violent, globally popular sport involving a roller derby ring, motorcycles and steel balls.

After a dinner party, corporate big wigs take turns incinerating trees with a futuristic pistol, which appears to be a modified Ruger Standard.

Blued Ruger Standard pistol - .22 Long Rifle.

A party guest shoots the modified Ruger Standard. The prop department appears to have added a barrel rib, a large-bore fake barrel extension, polished the pistol to a high shine, and changed out the grip panels.
