Ride Along is a 2014 action comedy directed by Tim Story (2005's Fantastic Four). Kevin Hart stars in the film as Ben Barber, a security guard who must prove himself to his girlfriend's brother, Atlanta Police Detective James Payton (Ice Cube). To do this, he must ride along with James on a 24-hour patrol of Atlanta. Both Kevin Hart and Ice Cube would return for the 2016 sequel Ride Along 2.
