Resident Evil: Revelations 2 (2015)

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is a third-person survival horror video game for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 systems. It is the sequel to Resident Evil: Revelations and was released in four episodes. The story follows Claire Redfield and Moira Burton (daughter of Barry Burton) trying to escape from a secret Russian island. Barry Burton also returns as the second main protagonist who arrives to the island to save his daughter. The game takes place between Resident Evil 5 and 6.

The page contains minor spoilers!

The following weapons appear in the video game Resident Evil: Revelations 2:

Pistols

Makarov PM

The Makarov PM is the first firearm available to the player in the game's story mode; Claire acquires it and a holster from a dead guard during "Penal Colony." When asked by Moira Burton if she intends to use it, Claire replies that it's more reliable than some people. The Makarov is also the first handgun available in Raid Mode. Appears as the MPM (Makarov PM).

Claire and Moira discover the Makarov pistol while looking for the keys.
Claire holds her Makarov at the cabin in Episode Two, hoping that Revelations 3 will have proper ragdoll physics.
Neil Fisher uses a Makarov in the beginning of Episode Two.
Claire fires the Makarov in the slaughterhouse as she's trying to solve a puzzle where the girls must fill a tank with blood to release the liver replica. John Kramer, The Jigsaw Killer, is probably suing Alex Wesker for stealing one of his designs.
Claire holds the Makarov on Evgeny in the sewers. She will have a Makarov even if the player swaps it away for the USP Compact.

Beretta 96FS "Samurai Edge"

Barry Burton's heavily customized version of the "Samurai Edge" returns. It has a different compensator and brown grips this time. It can accept 5 mods at a time in story mode, while Barry's other firearms can equip only three.

Barry fires the Samurai Edge near the end of the first episode. The different compensator and brown grips are visible in this shot.
Barry Burton engages a Revenant with his own custom "Samurai Edge".
When switching to the Samurai Edge, Barry will do a quick brass check. Also, that hi-cap mag holds only 9 rounds by default, which isn't even a valid capacity for a real Beretta 96 (10 is the lowest capacity available).
During a snowy mission, Claire engages the most annoying and frustrating enemy of the game; the sudden FPS drop. (This issue has been fixed with patch 2.1, making the game smoothly playable during the winter levels. Better late than never.)

"Triple Shot"

Sherry Birkin's custom-made machine pistol from Resident Evil 6 is one of several guns returning for Resident Evil Revelations 2, again as the Triple Shot. It is available in Raid Mode.

Heckler & Koch USP Compact

The 9x19mm USP Compact appears as the "P10" (German police variant with spurred hammer). Claire can find one in Episode 3. It has better stats than the Makarov.

Claire finds the "P10" which clearly has "USP COMPACT" written on the slide. The pistol on this image has no mag inserted.

Glock 18C

The Glock 18C returns as DLC for the Raid Mode. It is not available on the PC.

Colt M1911

A Colt M1911 pistol is seen in Moira's flashback when fighting the boss in Episode 3. The pistol's model isn't very detailed - for example it misses the magazine release button - but it's clear that it is an original M1911, as noted by the larger trigger and grip design.

Moira remembers Barry's M1911 while trying to save Claire.

Revolvers

Colt Anaconda

The Colt Anaconda with a 6" barrel and grey-ish finish appears in Raid Mode as the "Anaconda".

Claire fires the Anaconda at an Ironhead.
Chris reloads the Anaconda.

Colt Python "Pale Rider"

The "Pale Rider" is a legendary Magnum revolver that makes a return in Raid Mode (Episode 4). It is a Colt Python with a very long barrel. Unlike the Anaconda, this revolver has the cylinder release on the correct side.

Alex Wesker reloads the Pale Rider. The Lvl. 100 version of this gun holds only 4 rounds.

Mateba Model 6 Unica

The Mateba Model 6 Unica revolver appears in the game as the "Magnum 2005M". Barry Burton can find one in Episode 4 which is more powerful than Barry's signature Magnum but can accept only one mod. It's unique variant is called "Mr. Train".

Smith & Wesson Model 329PD

The Smith & Wesson Model 329PD is another Magnum usable in Raid Mode. Claire can obtain one at the factory in Episode 3.

Moira reloads the S&W Model 329PD in "The Struggle".

Smith & Wesson Model 500

The Smith & Wesson Model 500 returns from RE5, this time called incorrectly the "Magnum Python". The barrel is made to resemble Barry's signature gun from Resident Evil, but the rest of the gun clearly uses the M500's model from RE5 - that includes the Crimson Trace laser sight grip, the custom rear sight, and the now incorrect 5-round cylinder. When zooming in on Barry's unlockable figurine, the S&W logo and trademark print is also visible. It appears as one of Barry's weapons in Story Mode.

Shotguns

"Drake"

The "Drake" custom sawed-off double barreled shotgun returns as a Raid mode weapon. Episode 2 is required for it to drop.

Leon S. Kennedy reloads the Drake shotgun.

"Hydra"

The Hydra triple-barreled shotgun introduced in Resident Evil 5 is available in Raid Mode.

Merkel Model 147 SL

The second weapon Claire acquires during the main game is a Merkel Model 147 SL double-barrel shotgun, called the "M147S." She takes it from another dead guard; it's also available in Raid Mode.

HUNK holds the Model 147.
Claire reloads the shotgun in the prison complex.
Now in Raid Mode, Claire aims the "Gravedigger", a special variant of this shotgun. It has a unique name but looks exactly the same as the stock M147S. It can also hold 3 shells at a time. The previous game also had similar problems with the Hydra.

TOZ-194

The Russian TOZ-194 shotgun appears with a top-folding stock. Claire can acquire one in Episode Two, which has a 5-shot capacity and 2 upgrade slots. Barry can also find one in Episode 4.

TOZ-194 - 12 gauge
Jill Valentine holds the TOZ-194. The stock is not made up, it can be found on certain variants of this shotgun.
Claire fires the TOZ at a group of zombies. The muzzle flash stays for a slightly longer time than it should. This problem persists with most of the guns in the game. Also, Capcom's idea of "Throwback Map Pack" is some levels from RE6 and REV1...

Submachine Guns

"MP AB-50"

The model is taken from Resident Evil 6. Its name, the MP-AB50, an abbreviation of "Machine-Pistol, Ammo Box 50," its name in Resident Evil 6. Claire can acquire one in Episode 2. Along with the PM, it is one of the first weapons available to the player in Raid Mode; a version with a more ridiculously extended magazine called the MP-AB50G is the weapon's unique variant, and boasts a higher capacity and gold finish.

Ruger MP9 (with stock folded) - 9x19mm
Claire reloads the AB50 in Episode Two during the standoff at the village. The AB50 is much more useful in Story Mode. Pedro is seen in the background using a Merkel double barrel shotgun.
HUNK takes out a group of zombies.
Moira reloads the Golden AB50. Apparently, she has no problem using guns in Raid Mode.

H&K UMP9

The other SMG from Resident Evil 6 is also in the game, again as the Machine-Pistol/Accurate-Fire (MP-AF). It is used by the soldiers who abduct Claire and Moira in the opening cutscene, and has apparently replaced its cousin the MP5 as the standard icon for the "machine pistol" class of weapons in Raid Mode. It is possible to find one in Episode 3 after solving a rather hard puzzle.

Mysterious masked soldiers abduct Claire and Moira from a TerraSave event during the game's first cutscene, wielding AF SMGs in the standard BSAA configuration from Resident Evil 6.
Leon empties a mag that also contains some fire bullets.
Jill reloads the MP-AF. She has a Beretta 92FS in her thigh holster which is the standard issue handgun of the BSAA.

M1A1 Thompson

The "Chicago Typewriter" from Resident Evil 4 is available in Raid mode, although its model is somewhat altered. It is also shown with drum magazines, while the real M1A1 wasn't designed to accept drum mags. It can be unlocked for Story mode later.

Jill engages an elite enemy with her Tommy Gun. Unlike in RE4, the characters fire the Thompson from the hip.
Leon S. Kennedy reloads the M1A1. After swapping mags, the animation shows Leon pulling a non-existing charging handle on top, while the Tommy Gun has it on the side.

Assault Rifles

AK-74

The AK-74 appears as the "AK-7" and it is possible to pick one up with Barry in Episode 3. That AK-74 has a 60-round magazine. The "High Roller" with golden finish also returns. The standard AK has a better ROF while the golden version deals significantly more damage per bullet.

Pre-order bonus character and always ultimate badass HUNK fires the AK-74. Notice how it is modeled with a hooded front sight.
HUNK reloads the AK-74.
Claire wields a "High Roller". This variant is shown with a correct open sight.

Knight's Armament Company SR-47

Barry uses a KAC SR-47 as his main assault rifle when he goes to Eastern Europe to search for Moira. Quite possibly the first appearance of this gun in a video game.

KAC SR-47 - 7.62x39mm
Barry holds the SR-47 after arriving to the island. The starting capacity is correctly 30. In Raid Mode, the capacity changes based on the gun's level.
Barry looks at Natalia before entering the apartment block. The SR-47 appears to be an exact copy of the image above, including the selector on safe.
Barry fires his SR-47 at a Glasp, an invisible enemy with telekinetic powers.
HUNK fires his Lvl. 97 Beelzebub at a golden enemy while crouching down. Crouching (a.k.a. sneaking) is a new addition to the game; crouching down can greatly reduce recoil for automatic weapons and it can also increase damage if that skill is selected.

Sniper Rifles

"Anti Materiel Rifle"

The frankengun "AMR" makes a return from RE6. It is very powerful but spare ammo cannot be carried for it.

AMR - 12.7mm

Mosin Nagant M1891/30

Barry can acquire a scoped Mosin Nagant M1891/30 rifle in Episode 2. The Mosin also appears in Raid Mode. It is fitted with a custom scope in both game modes, although the reticle resembles the PU scope's reticle. Its unique variant in Raid Mode is called "Zaytsev", a reference to the legendary Russian WW2 sniper (who also used a Mosin Nagant rifle in real life).

Barry holds the M1891/30. Note the missing internal magazine.
Claire reloads the Mosin Nagant in Raid Mode.
Evgeny Rebic holds his Mosin on Claire and Moira in Episode 3. Notice the custom scope mount with picatinny rails.

"Muramasa"

The Muramasa sniper rifle returns from the previous game as a Legendary sniper rifle. It can be used in Raid Mode (added in Episode 3). The Muramasa has a very low capacity but very high stopping power and penetration. It uses the same scope reticle as the AMR.

RE6 BSAA Chris Redfield (added in Ep. 3) with the Muramasa.
HUNK reloads the Muramasa rifle. This rifle is a beast when used with the Charge Shot mod.

SVD Dragunov

The Dragunov SVD rifle returns from Resident Evil 6, this time as a useable sniper rifle, filling the role of the H&K PSG-1 from the first Revelations. Called the "Rifle-SVD" (this game apparently taking after the 3DS version of the first one and naming weapons after their class), the SVD features gorgeous cherry-wood furniture, meaning it is not a 100% recycle of the model from Resident Evil 5. Barry can find one in Episode 3. It deals less damage than the Mosin but holds twice as many bullets.

Launchers

RPG-7

Claire Redfield uses an RPG-7 in the 'good' ending of the game against the final boss. Moira can also pick one up in The Struggle. It also appears as a Active Skill (for Barry and Chris by default) in Raid Mode. True to Resident Evil tradition, it is the most powerful weapon when the skill is fully upgraded.

"Yep, I was right, still OP as hell."
At Character Lvl. 8 Chris unlocks the "Rocket Launcher" skill and tests it immediately.
Claire takes aim with the RPG-7 in the good ending. She fires it from a helicopter at the final boss like Chris and Sheva did in RE5. This time the player actually has to aim, instead of a QTE though.
