Nice, but where's the trigger?

This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it.

Rebuild of Evangelion is a four-film series from Studio Gainax that is a remake of the Neon Genesis Evangelion television series. Each movie is given a numerical designation (1.0, 2.0, etc.) upon its theatrical release. The number is then amended (1.1, 1.11, etc.) for its home video releases as more footage is added.

Currently two of three Rebuild films have been released and the third is slated for fall of 2012.

  • Evangelion: 1.XX You Are (Not) Alone
  • Evangelion: 2.XX You Can (Not) Advance
  • Evangelion: 3.XX You Can (Not) Redo
  • Evangelion: Final (working title)

The following weapons were used in the film Rebuild of Evangelion series:

Pistols

Heckler & Koch USP

Ryoji Kaji is seen in the Evangelion 3.0 trailer aiming what resembles a Heckler & Koch USP with a laser sight mounted underneath the barrel.

Submachine Guns

Heckler and Koch MP7A1

NERV Tactical soldiers can be seen armed with what appear to be Heckler & Koch MP7A1 submachine guns.

Machine Guns

Browning/Sumitomo M2HB

The Browning/Sumitomo M2HB is seen in the first three movies used in UN Army military vehicles.

Browning M2HB - .50 BMG. The Sumitomo M2HB is a license-made version of the Browning M2HB for Japanese use only.
UNA Type 74 MBTs await Sachiel's arrival, the M2s mounted on top of the turret. This scene is homage to the first episode of NGE.
UNA MBTs fire a tank volley on Sachiel after NERV detects its presence. These are probably supposed to be Type 10s, though they bear little resemblance to the real tank.

Mounted Weapons

Bofors 40mm

Misato's fleet, seen in the third movie, includes a number of Iowa-class battleships. Strangely, these are shown in their WW2 configuration, with multiple Bofors 40mm quad installations which were removed from all real Iowas during their refits.

M269 Launcher Loader Module

M269 Modules mounted on UN Army-controlled MLRS are used to fire M26 rockets at Sachiel when it begins to approach Tokyo-3 in the first movie. This scene is based on a similar scene from the first episode of the original TV series.
