Pursuit to Algiers is an American 1945 detective movie, directed by Roy William Neill and starring Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson. This is the twelfth installment to the series of fourteen Sherlock Holmes films starring Rathbone and Bruce. The story isn't based on any Arthur Conan Doyle's work but takes some lines from "The Adventure of the Red Circle". A king of a fictional state of Rovinia is murdered, and his heir, Prince Nikolas, is currently in Britain. Holmes is asked to escort the Prince to his country. They sail on an ocean liner for Algiers, with the Prince disguised as Watson's nephew. During the voyage, a trio of villains make attempts to kidnap the Prince.

The following weapons were used in the film Pursuit to Algiers:

Revolvers

Colt Detective Special

Colt Detective Special revolvers are seen in hands of agents Gregor (Rex Evans) and Mirko (Martin Kosleck).
