'Prophecy' is a 1979 natural horror film directed by John Frankenheimer and starring Robert Foxworth, Armand Assante, Talia Shire, Victoria Racimo and Richard Dysart. The film was written by David Seltzer.

Rob Verne (Robert Foxworth) finds a Winchester Model 1894 rifle in his cabin in the forest. In the end he is seen using the rifle against Katahdin, he manages to fire 2 shots to the monster.
