Position of murderer is vacant... (Место убийцы вакантно; Mesto ubiytsy vakantno...) is a 1991 Soviet crime drama about young Sledovatel (Detective) Aleksandr Ignatov (Andrey Smolyakov), who investigate tre serial murders. Incidentally, Position of murderer is vacant... has been made on the basis of the actually occurred incident in USSR.

Varios militiamen (Soviet policemen) (include Detective Aleksandr Ignatov (Andrey Smolyakov), Knysh (Evgeniy Matveev) and Danilov (Valentin Bukin) as well as one criminal (uncredited) uses Makarov PM pistols several times.
AKS-74
Soldiers carries AKS-74 rifles. It's seen only a few seconds and all shots of it are very blured due the moving.
