Mesto ubiytsy vakantno... (Место убийцы вакантно; correct English translation is unknown) is a 1991 Soviet crime drama about young Sledovatel (Detective) Aleksandr Ignatov (Andrey Smolyakov), who investigate tre serial murders. Incidentally, Mesto ubiytsy vakantno... has been made on the basis of the actually occurred incident in USSR.
PC. This film was filmed in low defenition and has never been restored

Makarov PM
Varios militiamen (Soviet policemen) (include Detective Aleksandr Ignatov (Andrey Smolyakov), Knysh (Evgeniy Matveev) and Danilov (Valentin Bukin) as well as one criminal (uncredited) uses Makarov PM pistols several times.
AKS-74
Soldiers carries AKS-74 rifles. It's seen only a few seconds and all shots of it are very blured due the moving.
