Nikolay Konstantinovich Cherkasov (July 27, 1903 – September 14, 1966) was a famous Soviet actor, best known for leading roles in Alexander Nevsky (1938), Ivan the Terrible (1945-1946), and Don Quixote (1957). In 1947 he was awarded the title of People's Artist of USSR.
