Rifles

Henry 1860 Rifle

Ben (Tony Todd) finds a Henry Rifle in the arms of "cousin Satchel" in the house. He takes it and uses it for a little while. Then he gives it to Barbara (Patricia Tallman), who uses it for most of the movie until Harry Cooper (Tom Towles) steals it from her.

CAR-15 Variant

One of the zombie hunters at the end of the film carries a CAR-15 variant (an aftermarket commercial version of the XM177E2 with a legal 16" barrel and elongated flash hider). Early in the film, Ben makes mention of a man with an "M16" in a diner. It is never seen in the movie, although it is more likely an AR-15 as it is used by a civilian.

A Winchester Model 1894 can be seen briefly on a Militia member. This is a possible reference to the original film, where this was the rifle used by the main characters.
