Night of the Living Dead is a 1968 horror movie directed by George A. Romero and was the first in Romero's "Dead Series" which includes Dawn of the Dead (1978), Day of The Dead (1985), Land of the Dead (2005), Diary of the Dead (2007), and Survival of the Dead (2010). A 1990 remake was directed by make-up special effects artist/actor Tom Savini.
Winchester Model 1894
Ben (Duane Jones) finds a Winchester 1894 who uses it for most of the film until it is taken away from him by Harry Cooper (Karl Hardman).
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Several police officers are seen using their Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers to kill zombies.
Ithaca 37 Shotgun
A member of the zombie hunting posse carries a Ithaca 37 shotgun.
Winchester Model 250M
A member of the posse can be seen carrying a Winchester Model 250M .22WMR lever action rifle.
Pattern 1914 Enfield
A member of the posse can be seen carrying a sporterized Pattern 14.
Lee Enfield No.1 Mk3 (SMLE)
A member of the posse can be seen carrying a sporterized Lee Enfield No.1 Mk3.
Molotov cocktails
Molotov cocktails are thrown to keep the zombies at bay.
Miscellaneous Guns
When the people start the zombie hunting on the TV news coverage they can be seen carrying several shotguns, rifles, and pistols. Due to the low quality of the film the make and model of these firearms are likely not to be determined. Yes they "could" be Marlins, Winchesters, .22 rifles, and so on but that cannot be confirmed. If you wish to speculate please do so in the discussion page so that this article remains neat and tidy.
