The Nice Guys is a 2016 neo noir comedy co-written and directed by Shane Black. Set in 1977 Los Angeles, the film follows two down and out private detectives who together uncover a conspiracy while searching for a missing woman.

The pistol used by Jackson Healy (Russell Crowe) during the house shootout appears to be a SIG-Sauer compact, possibly a SIG-Sauer P230. The P230 would be period-appropriate as it began production 2 years before the year of the film (1977).
