The New Centurions is a 1972 crime drama directed by Richard Fleischer and based on the novel by Joseph Wambaugh, the former LAPD veteran turned crime novelist. As in the novel, the film depicts the dramatic life of rookie LAPD officer Roy Fehler (Stacy Keach) and his veteran partner Andy Kilvinski (George C. Scott).

Revolvers

Smith & Wesson Model 10

Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers are the service sidearms of LAPD officers. They are also seen in hands of various criminals.

During the training in police academy, the cadets use Smith & Wesson Model 15 revolvers.

During a fight, a criminal uses a revolver that has a shrouded ejector rod and duty sights. It is seen only in darkness and resembles the Smith & Wesson Model 28.
