M1917 Enfield

While the cadets were seen marching with Garands, an M1917 Enfield is the rifle that Doug Neidermeyer (Mark Metcalf) is seen taking up and loading a live round into during the parade frenzy.

Neidermeyer fires the rifle at Flounder. Theoretically, the bullet that shattered the seltzer bottle should've gone through Flounder as well.
