Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) continues to carry the Colt M1911A1 in .45 ACP, which he has been using since the Season 14 episode "A Bowl of Cherries" (S14E20). In the series, this pistol was owned by his late father Jackson Gibbs (Ralph Waite).

SIG-Sauer P228

NCIS agents including Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) in the series continue to carry the SIG-Sauer P228. The pistol also is seen on occasions with US Navy personnel.

Eleanor Bishop (Emily Wickersham) continues to carry the smaller SIG-Sauer P239 as her sidearm. Gibbs has one as his personal sidearm in "Out of the Darkness" (S17E01).

Beretta 92FS

The Beretta 92FS is seen with some characters in some episodes. Gibbs uses the pistol to warn a back alley dealer in "Out of the Darkness" (S17E01). The Beretta also is wielded by Mira Sahar Azam (Mouzam Makkar) in the same episode.

The Glock 17 is seen used by various characters in the season. Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) uses a Glock to fire on armed assassins in "Out of the Darkness" (S17E01).

What seemed to be silenced Heckler & Koch UMPs are in "Out of the Darkness" (S17E01) with hired assassins.

While the shot is a bit blurry in "Out of the Darkness" (S17E01), you can see the slanted mag inserted to indicate that it's at least a .45 ACP/.40 S&W version.

KRISS Vector

A KRISS Vector visually modified to look like a prototype weapon is used in "Sound Off" (S17E13).
