Pistols
Beretta Model 21 Bobcat
A Beretta 21 Bobcat is used by coin dealer Jacob Posner (J.P. Manoux) in "Mr. Monk Is Up All Night".
Beretta 92FS
Several characters carry a Beretta 92FS or a variant as their sidearm including police consultant Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub). In the pilot episode, "Mr. Monk and the Candidate," Monk grazes a suspect with a blind shot in the dark using a Beretta 92FS, borrowed from Disher. In the Season Two episode, "Mr. Monk and the Very Very Old Man," Lt. Randy Disher (Jason Gray-Stanford), in trying to distract Captain Stottlemeyer's wife Karen, shows off his sidearm, correctly described as a "Beretta 9mm Centurion." In the episode "Mr. Monk and the Captain's Wife," a bank robber uses a hunting rifle to stop a tow truck repossessing his car, which still has his handgun, a 9mm Beretta, in the glovebox. In the episode "Mr. Monk Gets Cabin Fever," both Stottlemeyer and Disher use Beretta 92s when they are attacked by Chinese hit men. In the series finale "Mr. Monk and the End, Part II", Monk also holds a Beretta.
"Lane & Westen" (Fictional name for Beretta)
Possibly because of legal objections after the episode "Mr. Monk and the Old Man," subsequent Beretta pistols which appear in the series are given the fictional name "Lane & Westen." In the Season Two episode, "Mr. Monk and the Three Pies," Monk's brother Ambrose (John Turturro) overhears his neighbor, Pat van Ranken (Holt McCallany) murder his wife, Rita, by shooting her with a 9mm Lane & Westen.
Monk's own police-issue sidearm, as seen in the Season Six episode "Mr. Monk Is On The Run, Part I" and the Season Seven episode "Mr. Monk's Other Brother," is also a Beretta 92FS described as a Lane & Westen. Corrupt Sheriff Rollins (Scott Glenn) frames Monk for murder by shooting a criminal with another Lane & Westen, after replacing the barrel with the barrel from Monk's own gun, then switching them back.
In "Mr. Monk's Other Brother," Adrian's half-brother Jack, Jr. (Steve Zahn) "borrows" Monk's pistol and uses it to return fire when a suspect shoots at them.
Colt M1911
An unknown stainless M1911 model (possibly with wooden grips) is seen in the hands of the leader of the same gang in "Mr. Monk and the Magician" used to threaten The Great Torini (Steve Valentine).
Colt Single Action Army
In "Happy Birthday Mister Monk", Cowboy Hank has a Colt Single Action Army.
Glock 17
In the episode "Mr. Monk Takes His Medicine," a criminal tries to kill Captain Stottlemeyer with a Glock 17.
In the episode "Mr. Monk and the Secret Santa," a criminal fires five rounds at Captain Stottlemeyer with a Glock 17.
In the episode, "Mr. Monk Gets Cabin Fever," FBI Special Agent Grooms (Josh Stamberg) shoots a Chinese assassin with a Glock pistol (exact model unknown).
Lt. Randy Disher (Jason Gray-Stanford) uses a Glock for several of the later-season episodes, including "Mr. Monk Takes A Punch" and "Mr. Monk and the End, Part 1."
In Part 1 of the series finale, "Mr. Monk and the End", Lt. Disher (Jason Gray-Stanford) uses a Glock as he clears the radio tower of the train station.
Ruger Super Redhawk
In the episode "Mr. Monk Goes to the Circus", a mysterious ninja-like figure kills a ringmaster with a single shot from a revolver described as a "Ruger Casull" in .454 caliber. This is likely the Ruger Super Redhawk revolver, which comes in a model that chambers the .454 Casull cartridge.
SIG-Sauer P226
In the Season Six episode "Mr. Monk and the Birds and the Bees," sports agent Rob Sherman shoots a burglar with his own 9mm pistol, and, when his wife comes running down to investigate, shoots her dead with an unknown .38-caliber revolver, which he then places in the burglar's hand, to frame him for the murder. When reconstructing the scenario for Monk, Disher describes the pistol as a Glock, but during the scene, Sherman is actually holding a SIG-Sauer P226.
In the Season Eight episode "Mr. Monk is the Best Man," criminal Stephanie Briggs (Teri Polo) holds Stottlemeyer and Monk at gunpoint after recovering a pistol that she stuffed in a garment bag. When Stottlemeyer tells his girlfriend not to worry because the gun is not loaded, Stephanie responds by firing a round into the air - at which point the slide locks back, and Stottlemeyer informs Stephanie that the clip fell out into the garment bag, and she just spent the one round left in the chamber.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Greg Grunberg of Heroes fame plays Jack Leverett in Season 5, Episode 1 "Mr. Monk and the Actor". He uses a bright Nickel-plated snub-nosed Smith & Wesson Model 10 with a square butt and Pearl grips, to shoot a pawn shop owner. It is referenced by Lt. Disher as a "Smith & Wesson 38 with a pearl handle".
Smith & Wesson Model 36
In the Season Six episode "Mr. Monk and the Man Who Shot Santa Claus," Monk picks up a pearl-handled Smith & Wesson Model 36 dropped by a suspect and used to shoot the criminal dressed as Santa Claus.
Smith & Wesson 3913
Captain Leland Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) carries what looks like a Smith & Wesson 3913 as his primary weapon (comically, in "Mr. Monk and the Old Man", he has to hide it whenever his wife comes around, since she is a pacifist and believes that he doesn't go armed). The size and dimensions of the pistol, as well as the diameter of the barrel, indicate the model.
In the episode "Mr. Monk Can't See A Thing," Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) grabs Stottlemeyer's gun and uses it to shoot an advancing criminal.
Various other cops and criminals use various Smith & Wesson pistols as well.
Smith & Wesson 6906
In the episode "Mr. Monk's Favorite Show", Christine Rapp (Elizabeth Perkins), the actress Monk is protecting, uses a Smith & Wesson 6906 to "defend herself" from an "assailant".

Walther PPK
In the Season One episode "Mr. Monk Takes A Vacation," hotel security chief and cop wannabe Rita Bronwyn (Polly Draper) carries a stainless Walther PPK.
In the Season Four episode "Mr. Monk Has Jury Duty," the girlfriend of a drug dealer hides what looks like a Walther PPK in her coffee mug and uses it to threaten Monk, then later to shoot at several police officers (to no effect, since they are all wearing body armor).
In the Season Seven episode "Mr. Monk On Wheels," a criminal shoots Monk in the leg with a .32 caliber Walther PPK. Monk's assistant, Natalie Teeger (Traylor Howard) blames herself, and, ironically, at the climax of the episode, saves the day by subduing the criminal and seizing the gun away, only to accidentally shoot Monk in his other leg (this contradicts a short scene from "Mr. Monk and the Three Julies," when Natalie tells Disher that her husband, a Navy pilot, taught her how to handle a gun).
In the Season Eight episode "Mr. Monk Is Someone Else," while masquerading as a mob hit man, Monk straps what looks like a Walther PPK to his ankle as a back-up gun.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The Heckler & Koch MP5A3 is used by SFPD SWAT team members, fitted with Navy trigger groups, Surefire dedicated forend weaponlights, and an unknown scope.
Ingram MAC-10
In "Mr. Monk Meets the Godfather," a crew of mafia hoods are massacred at a barber shop with a MAC-10 seized from one of them.
Rifles
AKM
In the episode "Mr. Monk and the Election," an arms dealer tries to disrupt Natalie's campaign headquarters by firing a semi-automatic Type 56-1 variant through the window.
The AKM is also seen in the hands of an East Asian drug cartel member in "Mr. Monk and the Magician."
M4
Numerious police and SWAT officers use various M4 variants.
Remington 700
In the episode "Mr. Monk and the Employee of the Month," Monk grabs a hunting rifle (what looks like a Remington 700) from the sporting goods section of "Mega-Mart" and tosses it to his ex-partner, Joe Christie (Enrico Colantoni), who uses it to shoot out the tire of a bank robber gang's getaway van.
Ruger Mini-14
In the episode "Mr. Monk's Other Brother," prison guard Dennis Reese (Titus Welliver) fires a semi-automatic Ruger Mini-14 from his rooftop at Monk, Natalie, and Monk's brother Jack (Steve Zahn), who returns fire with Monk's own "borrowed" pistol.
Weatherby Mark V Fibermark
In the pilot episode, "Mr. Monk and the Candidate," hit man Ian Sykes (Shawn Reis) uses a bolt-action rifle identified later in the episode as a "Weatherby Fibermark" as his weapon of choice. It is incorrectly described as a British-made sniper rifle, when in reality the Mark V line is American made and designed primarily as a hunting rifle.
Unknown Semiautomatic Rifle
During a staged escape, prison guard Dennis Reese (Titus Welliver) tries to shoot an escaping prisoner from a guard tower with a semiautomatic rifle.
Unknown Winchester Bolt-Action Rifle
In the episode "Mr. Monk and the Captain's Wife," a sniper kills a tow truck driver with a rifle identified as a "Winchester bolt-action rifle" in 30-.06 caliber.

In the Season Seven episode "Mr. Monk Takes A Punch", professional killer "The Iceman" (Jon Sklaroff) prepares a sniper's rifle to assassinate a boxer during a title bout.

Starter Pistol
Monk's first assistant Sharona Fleming (Bitty Schram) uses a starter pistol in "Mr. Monk and the Candidate" to test a suspect's claim that he located a sniper by the sound of his shot.
RGD-5 Hand Grenade
In "Mr. Monk and the Election", an arms dealer throws an RGD-5 (erroneously described as being manufactured in Chechnya) through Natalie Teeger's window. In a rather comical scene, Monk slo-mo runs and tosses the grenade into the refrigerator, but then re-opens the door and places it neatly in an empty compartment of an egg carton, before slamming the door and running away. Even in slow motion, the grenade takes a ridiculously long time to explode.
