The Mechanic (2011)

The Mechanic is a 2011 remake of the 1972 Charles Bronson thriller. The film stars Jason Statham and Ben Foster and was directed by Simon West (Con Air).

A SIG-Sauer P226 is seen being pulled by Steve McKenna (Ben Foster).

A factory black (K-Kote) SIG-Sauer P226 pistol chambered in 9x19mm. This is a real movie gun and has appeared in several motion pictures.

Glock 17's are seen used by Arthur Bishop (Jason Statham) as well as by the men employed by Dean Sanderson (Tony Goldwyn).

Nickel M1911A1

A nickel plated M1911A1 is first used by Harry McKeena (Donald Sutherland). It is later used by his son Steve McKeena (Ben Foster). The gun has a Latin phrase, "Amat Victoria Curam", engraved on one side of the slide and its translation on the other. The translation is "Victory Loves Preparation". It also is supposed to be 30 years old and is marked US Army Property.

A pistol gripped 500 series (noted by trigger guard and safety) with a saddle shell holder is also seen in a bag packed with guns. Underneath it you can see the receiver of the FN F2000, it doesnt appear the scope has been installed.
