The Match Will Take Place in Any Weather (Latvian title Spele notiks tik un ta, Russian title Match sostoitsya v lyubuyu pogodu) is a 1986 (filmed 1985) Soviet Latvian made for TV two part detective movie directed by Rolands Kalnins and based on the novel "Smrt v pokutovem uzemi" ("Death in Penalty Area") by Václav Folprecht. A West German soccer team visits Czechoslovakia. During the training a German player falls dead, poisoned by a needle in his boot. Czechoslovak detectives hold investigation.

Makarov PM

Makarov PM pistols are widely used by Czechoslovak Státní bezpečnost (state security) Capt. Jiří Patočka (Algis Matulionis) and his colleague Karel (Andrejs Zagars). It's worth noting that PMs were never issued in Czechoslovakia, these pistols stand for CZ Vz.82.

PSM

Státní bezpečnost Capt. Jiří Patočka (Algis Matulionis) carries a PSM pistol in holster (later he is seen with a PM). A PSM is also seen in hands of Státní bezpečnost operative Ehlers (Hermanis Paukss). Like PM, PSM was never put into service in Czechoslovakia.

Unique Kriegsmodell

A pistol, confiscated from a blackmailer Karel Horak (Leonids Grabovskis), appears to be a French Unique Kriegsmodell, wartime version of Unique Model 17, produced in 1941-44 under German control. (Note: the postwar Unique Rr 51 looks very similar but the wartime pistol has more chance to appear on Soviet studio).
