The following weapons were used in the film Malone (1987):
WARNING! THIS PAGE CONTAINS SPOILERS!
Handguns
Smith & Wesson Model 66
Jon Patterson (Brooks Gardner), one of the followers of Charles Delayne (Cliff Robertson), uses what appears to be a modified Smith & Wesson Model 66 revolver to assassinate a civil rights attorney. The gun has Bo-Mar sights and a suppressor, which in reality wouldn't work on this revolver due to the lack of total seal between cylinder and barrel and the resulting escape of gas (and with it, noise) therein. Furthermore the 'suppressor' clearly does nothing to dampen the gun's muzzle flash.
Smith & Wesson Model 66 snub - .357 Magnum
Jon Patterson (
Brooks Gardner) wields the suppressed S&W Model 66 snub.
Jon Patterson (
Brooks Gardner) executes his target with the revolver. This shot clearly shows both a considerable muzzle flash (which a real suppressor would dampen significantly) as well as 'poofs' of gases exiting the sides of the revolver from the clyinder-barrel gap - showing why any such 'suppressor' would be ineffective in the first place.
Closeup of the Bo-Mar sights.
AMC Auto Mag
Malone carries the AMC .44 Auto Magnum Pistol with him as a town local tries to take him out.
Jo (
Cynthia Gibb) opens a box under Malone's bed and discovers Malone's .44 Automag.
Jo picks up the Automag. The barrel of this gun appears to 6.5 in. long
Jo admiring the Automag. She is about to point the barrel
directly in her own face.
Malone shoots Calvin with his Automag.
Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose
The town local Calvin Bollard (Tracey Walter) is given a Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose to take out Malone.

Calvin Bollard is handed a Model 19 to start a fight with Malone and then shoot him.
Calvin Bollard (
Tracey Walter) comes into the barber shop armed with the Model 19.
While getting a haircut, Malone is being harrassed by Calvin with the Model 19, before being shot by Malone's Automag.
Beretta 92SB
Jamie uses the Beretta 92SB on the target range. Later in the film, Malone uses the pistol against Delayne's men.
Jamie (
Lauren Hutton) is target shooting with Beretta 92SB at CIA Headquarters, right before she receives the order to kill Malone.
Malone aims the
Beretta 92SB at Jon during the final shootout.
M1911A1
The M1911A1 is carried Delayne (Cliff Robertson) as well as several of his men.
